S.O.T.K.

The purpose of the SOTK (Sisters of the Kingdom) of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church is to encourage women in every state of womanhood, to grow in their relationship with God, Connect to supportive sisters in the faith, and provide opportunities to display God’s love as we serve one another and our community for the glory of God. 

 

• To glorify God through prayerfully planned activities and events for women in our church and community which promote spiritual growth and lead women to Christ. We seek to serve women, with love and grace.

 

• To use our God-given influence to encourage our family, church, community, and world with the love of God and teachings of Jesus Christ.

• To Encourage, Equip and Connect Women into Community as they pursue the fullness of Jesus Christ in their lives and in their circles of influences.

​

• To Love, lead and encourage women of God to deepen their relationship with God.

 

The Sisters of the Kingdom will concentrate on 4 pillars: Study, Service, Support and Socialization. 

 

1. Study - 2Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV) All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

2. Service – Women need opportunities to serve others. Doing so together, as the body of Christ, builds unity, encourages, growth, and develops relationship. 1Peter 4:10, As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.

3. Support – Women need safe places where they can find biblically sound support. Ecclesiastes 4:10 (ESV) For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!

4. Social – As Women we benefit by regularly meeting together with other believers.
